eatbank

From the 9th: I was walking on an early afternoon in city with a WU friend (it was temperate, like San Diego or something) north along the west sidewalk of a street to a corner eatery; this was for the second time, as I had also gone there the evening before. It had tiled, antiseptic, bare walls, seeming almost more like a bank or bathroom than restaurant, but the food looked tasty; on this daytime trip, though, the bottled drinks in the niche on the north wall didn’t have caps, though I was tempted to get the Yoohoo there anyway. There was a much larger selection of drinks available behind cases by the food displays on the south side of the space, but one had to order those from the staff.
