street bustle

Last night’s dreams were largely, seemingly, set in a version of Barcelona, partly within the street grid but partly overlooking the city from the direction of Montjuïc. It was overcast, but there was lots of contrast in the building surfaces, or at least lots of black outlines around lighter expanses. There was lots of traffic — automobiles, trains — all around; it was bustling. Within the street grid there were many complex open spaces, with buildings connected by bridges, and so on. Events happened there but I’ve forgotten them. Later I was in an apartment there, packing up to leave, at night; adjacent, there were a couple of tiled rooms, one of which I entered, whose walls looked like those of public bathrooms.
